Sandra L. Shepherd

Sandy Shepherd is a paralegal and consultant with more than twenty years of experience.  In addition to managing discovery and assisting with trial preparation, Ms. Shepherd performs work assessments and improvement plans.  She has conducted more than five hundered employee interviews and analyzed survey data on numerous large-scale projects.   She has considerable experience obtaining materials from government agencies through the Freedom of Information Act.

Prior to joining Clifford & Garde, LLP, Ms. Shepherd provided support services to the U.S. Department of Justice, served as Office Manager for Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, and provided paralegal services to Ms. Garde at several law firms.  Ms. Shepherd has extensive experience working on employment cases, including cases involving sexual harassment, and age, gender, race and disability discrimination; she also has experience with personal injury cases, including medical malpractice claims.  Ms. Shepherd earned a Certificate of Paralegal Studies from
the University of Maryland in 1982.

Linda Bauman

Linda Bauman is based in Clifford & Garde, LLP's Appleton, Wisconsin office and is responsible for developing and coordinating training programs that are designed to ensure that supervisors and managers have the tools to respond to employee concerns.  Ms. Bauman also provides paralegal services in federal and state employment discrimination cases.

Prior to joining Clifford & Garde, LLP, Ms. Bauman worked as a legal assistant at the Government Accountability Project, a non-profit organization that promotes government and corporate accountability by advancing occupational free speech and ethical conduct, defending whistleblowers, and empowering citizen activists.  Ms. Bauman received paralegal training and a degree in Applied Arts from the Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland, Wisconsin.  Ms. Bauman is a member of the Employee Concerns Program Forum.
